Our First Dance

Troy and I decided last night what song we're dancing to for our first dance at the wedding...this FRIDAY!

This song is a tad big cheesy but the words are great and it will be totally fun to dance to!

Marriage Apartment

Hey Guys!

Wow! I've been super busy! On Saturday Troy and I started moving everything into our new apartment. Troy's already living there and I'm in the process of slowly taking things over there and settling in. This week is totally nuts! I can't wait to be done.

I get to go to Hawaii next week. I'm so excited. The only time I've ever been able to leave here when it's cold to go somewhere warm is on the Florida Spring Break trips...but, even then it's not bitter cold in Michigan. I seriously cannot wait. I'll post pictures later!

Oh more info about our new apartment...it's smells like poopy! It's pretty bad and we have to do a lot of cleaning still. Get the stink out of our carpets and stuff. Please pray for us as we're doing that...we will need it.

Thank you to all of the people that helped us move in on Saturday...you guys rocked!

I'm out!

Christmas rocked this year

I'm so thankful for my Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we (Troy and I) went to Midland to hang out with his family. At first it was just the immediate family opening gifts together. I loved it. We had a good time...then some of the grandparents came over for dinner and more gifts. I had such a good time with the Wallace family. I also noticed an ornament on the tree with my name on it. His parents got it from Frankenmuth this year and put it on their tree. It was so sweet and made me feel so good. I loved it.

Christmas morning we woke up at Troy's parents house and we exchanged gifts between us and his parents and his mom made the most delicious breakfast ever. Eggs benedict and hash brown type things.

We spent most of Christmas day in Holt with my family. Opening gifts and playing games. Sam and Holly came over to play games last night and we had a lot of fun.

Christmas rocked this year and I am thankful for my family and this time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

First post on my new blog

Annie commented on my other blog that she thinks I should blog more. She's right...I should. I stop doing it because I don't think people are reading. I guess that comment affirmed that I do have at least one reader.

Positive recent occurrences:
+Troy and I bought a new bed and it was an awesome deal
+I bought non-alcoholic wine (not champagne) and I think it's really fun
+I'm getting married next week
+For Christmas Troy bought me this skin stuff that's supposed to be really exfoliating and stuff.
+I got to go to Frankenmuth
+I'm the proud owner of white converse all stars with black and silver accents
+Troy and I only have $1075 more to raise for our Mexico trip

Negative recent occurrences:
-I slept on the new bed last night...my back hurts. It may be too soft
